AI Disclosure

This is how AI (artificial intelligence) is used in the creation of this blog.

I use the latest versions of the following AI tools:

  • Gemini
  • Claude
  • ChatGPT
  • Firefly (in Adobe)
  • NotebookLM
  • Superwhisper

Images

All images are created by AI, primarily Gemini, using my own illustration style prompts. Because most of the images refer to symbolic material, images are usually generated piece-meal and assembled in Photoshop.

Blogs/Articles

The concepts, insights, and perspectives shared on this blog originate from my own observations, experiences, and reflections.

  • Research and fact-checking: To verify information including dates, locations, names, statistics, and to access academic research. All core insights and interpretations are my own; AI helps me confirm specific factual details. I manually verify AI-generated information through additional research before publishing.
  • Organizing and refining ideas: Much of my thinking happens in journals, voice notes, and freewriting sessions. I sometimes use AI to help analyze patterns across my notes or to organize themes I’ve already identified. I review and edit this analysis manually, using it to inform—not replace—my own organizational decisions.
  • Conversational development: I occasionaly process ideas by talking them through. I use AI as a sounding board to discuss emerging concepts, transcribe recordings, and check grammar and spelling. These conversations help me clarify my thinking, but the substance always comes from my own reflection.
  • Stress-testing ideas: I occasionally use AI to simulate different perspectives (asking it to respond as various personas) to identify potential counterarguments or blind spots in my thinking. These exercises help me refine how I articulate ideas, but they don’t change the fundamental concepts themselves.
  • Simplifying complex ideas: When working with abstract or intricate concepts, I sometimes discuss them with AI to explore clearer ways of expression. I only incorporate these refinements after careful consideration to ensure the core message remains intact and true to my original thinking.

The fundamental ideas, arguments, responses, observations, commentary, and creative voice of this blog remain entirely my own intellectual property and creative output. AI serves as a spelling and grammar/punctuation checker, and research and organizational tool, not as a creative collaborator, ghostwriter, or co-author.
